The School for Conscious Awakening and Full Spectrum Forgiveness
January 16, 2021 - December 4, 2021
Would you like to be part of an intimate group of people meeting each week for the purpose of realizing the liberating truth of our natural condition and greatly expanding our capacity for deep contentment and unconditional happiness?
Starting January 16, I will be offering my first program in over 5 years: The School for Conscious Awakening and Full Spectrum Forgiveness. It is a year-long program of spiritual and psychological teachings, meditation, inquiry, and practice that provides consistent contact with myself, as well as our co-created spiritual community. This deep dive will be taking place online.
This world we live in might appear to be getting more complex, more threatening, more polarized, and more uncertain. If we seek salvation through escaping this world appearance or changing this world appearance, we are likely to find frustration, fear, and grief as our companions. However, if we are willing to see this world for what it truly is, and learn to relate to it well, the catastrophic changes we may fear can serve to help us realize greater wisdom, love, and freedom. Then, come what may, we can choose to play a beautiful game, together.

While you will be invited to clarify your aims in your own words, here are just a couple of the primary intentions that I am holding for this year together:
1) Awakening. If you already have clear insight into who you are in truth, my aim is to support you to deepen, stabilize, and embody what you have already realized. If you perceive yourself to be seeking that clarity, my aim is to support you to discover the simple yet profound truth of your essential nature, directly.
2) Forgiveness. With clear seeing of fundamental truth as our foundation, I intend to pass on a teaching and practice I call Full Spectrum Forgiveness. The basis of this teaching and practice is to recognize the upsets and reactions that happen in our lives as a rich opportunity for learning, transformation, and liberation. In the process we will discover how to live more and more from a place of deep contentment and unconditional happiness.
The basis of my approach is rooted in over 35 years of inspired practice and realization, rooted in the wisdom teachings of Buddha, Jesus, and Ramana Maharshi, as well as a deep grounding in psychology and therapeutic practice. This approach is also greatly influenced by the many years of surrendering to what I call the sacred ordeal of chronic illness. Debilitating pain, fatigue, and other persistent symptoms gave me a tremendous opportunity to practice what I teach, thoroughly and profoundly. As a result, I can truly say I know that we have the capacity forgive anything and everything. I am thrilled to realize that genuine and unconditional happiness is a reality that is available to anyone for whom the desire is strong.

The program features:
- Three, day-long training sessions with our small group via Zoom. Each training day will have two sessions - from 10-1 and 3-5, or longer if deemed appropriate. January 16th is the scheduled time for the first day-long training session. The scheduling of the remaining day-long meetings will be determined together.
- Weekly two-hour sessions via Zoom. Meeting times will be determined once our group is formed, and depending on everyone’s availability. I will do my best to make scheduling work for everyone. We may also take occasional weeks off, as seems fitting or necessary.
- A weekly guided audio practice to support our learning, discovery and practice.
- A weekly homework practice based on the themes explored in our weekly meeting.
- Downloadable audios of all sessions.
- Written guides for the learning and application of the insights and skills.
No-pressure agreement:
- While I want to offer the structure and encouragement for you to get as much out of our time as you desire, it is for you to determine how much time is right to dedicate to our focus.
- I like to have fun and to enjoy my life. I know I will enjoy our time together immensely, and I want to support you to find your right relationship with this invitation, so that it can be deeply fun for you too. This type of fun does not exclude the discomfort or emotion that accompanies our willingness to open our hearts to our pain. True fun can be (not should be) experienced unconditionally. It is a paradoxical enjoyment that can be found in the midst of challenges that are not in themselves fun at all.
- Missing sessions is not a problem. With sessions happening most weeks, there will be a steady container of support. Recordings will also be either shortly after each session, or by the next day. Attendance is not required. However, I will do my best to make our time interesting, rewarding or useful enough so you will want to make all the sessions you can.
- One to one work with myself, or someone else proficient in this work, can be invaluable to support you to see your blind spots and to discover their natural release. While I will be available to work with you in this capacity in our group, or during one of my open sessions offered 2-4 times a month, private one to one sessions are not included in this program package. However, I will be available to participants for one to one mentoring sessions at a rate of $150/hour. The length of private sessions is flexible and need only be as long as required to answer any question you may have, or help you move through any stuck places you encounter as your practice evolves.
Additional information:
- Sessions will include presentation, demonstration, Q&A, guided meditation and inquiry, individual in-group practice, work in dyads, and in-session writing.
- The forgiveness curriculum will be both progressive and holographic. It is progressive in the sense that simple concepts and practices will be layered over time as part of a cohesive teaching and approach. It is holographic in that most discovery modules are themselves a doorway to the wholeness of Presence, as well as being an aspect of Full Spectrum Forgiveness.
- You choose your level of engagement based on what you want to experience, and how much time you are willing to give to the process.
- Study and practice between sessions may include reading, contemplation, writing assignments, and weekly practices.
